I help people in need of a professional who truly understands them and is able to facilitate real change and growth within the therapeutic relationship. You may be looking for someone to help you with challenging issues such as marital difficulties, family conflicts, and relational struggles. You may be dealing with more specialized issues such as sexual orientation, personal identity, pornography, fetishes and/or sex addiction, Gender Identity Disorder (GID) in children, and low self-esteem. If so, you have found the right therapist. (Most of the clients that I saw during the last three years had these special difficulties.) I also specialize in helping clients who are people of faith and who prefer a therapist who can work within their faith-based belief system. My practice is not, however, limited to these issues. I have also treated clients who suffer from depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. I am interested in helping clients discover and live out their True Selves, which involves connectedness to authentic feelings. I am a serious, highly trained therapist who truly cares about you and your healing. I am able to get to the root of the problem quickly and am able to help you break through the emotional "road-blocks" which prevent progress. For those who are struggling with homosexuality: Re-orientation therapy (psycho-dynamic) is primarily for men who are struggling with homosexuality; for whom homosexuality does not fit or reflect their values. I am 53 years old. I have a Masters in Psychology from National University in Los Angeles. I completed my internship under the supervision of Dr. Joseph Nicolosi, the founder of Reparative Therapy, the most effective therapy in the world for individuals who seek change out of homosexuality. I am licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Marriage and Family Therapist. After years of training in common disorders with several clinics and extensive training in Reparative Therapy under Dr. Nicolosi, I have just opened my own private practice in the Burbank, California area. I also am an accomplished speaker about re-orientation therapies, having held workshops at annual NARTH conventions, Exodus International conventions, and have spoken many times for secular and spiritual groups of men, women and teenagers around the Los Angeles area.
